Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP)

FAP is an inherited condition found in both male and female. The FAP gene develops into many polyps throughout the length of the gastrointestinal tract. FAP is rare but these polyps may become malignant.  Genetic counselling and screening will be necessary for the whole family.
